Moxa therapy is part of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a treatment with a moxa stick of an acupuncture point on the body. A moxa stick looks a lot like a big cigar. When you light it, it spreads an intense heat radiation over the acupuncture point that is very pleasant and absolutely not painful.

These Moxa sticks consist of roasted and compressed mugwort herb. The heat released penetrates deep into the acupuncture points and stimulates the flow of energy.

Usage:

  • Point the illuminated part towards the point to be treated at a suitable distance that gives the patient a pleasant feeling of warmth.
  • The treatment of each individual point normally takes about 20-30 minutes.
  • Keep dry.
